Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all studio spaces, particularly kitchens, shooting areas, and food preparation zones.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and equipment are free from food debris, grease, and stains before and after shoots.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen appliances, utensils, and food storage areas.
- Implement strict food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic environment.
- Regularly clean and disinfect work surfaces, utensils, and equipment used in food preparation and photography.
- Ensure that all food waste is properly disposed of and that garbage bins are emptied and sanitized frequently.
- Ensure that restrooms are clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with photographers, food stylists, and studio staff to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
- Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, kitchen essentials, and other housekeeping necessities.
- Order and restock supplies as needed, ensuring that all materials are readily available for use.
- Assist in the proper cleaning, handling, and storage of photography equipment, such as cameras, lighting, and props.
- Ensure that all equipment used in food photography is kept clean and well-maintained.
- Ensure that all housekeeping activities comply with health, safety, and food sanitation regulations.
- Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and kitchen supplies to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and maintain a safe working environment.
Additional Qualification and Skills:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a food-related or studio environment.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and photography areas.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
