Job Description
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated tests (functional, upgrade, HA, negative, longevity) using Python and Pytest.
- Develop modular, reusable, and resilient test automation code to ensure system stability.
- Create verification plans, test strategies, and triage playbooks; identify coverage gaps and improve automation reliability.
- Automate testing across multiple storage platforms Object Storage, NAS, SAN, and File Systems.
- Test and debug REST APIs, backend services, and cloud workflows integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Analyze system logs, perform failure injection testing, and collaborate with development teams to drive defect resolution.
- Youll work at the intersection of automation and large-scale storage technology, solving complex infrastructure challenges.

- Strong hands-on experience in Python automation with deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and OS fundamentals (Linux/Windows).
- Expertise in Pytest, Jenkins CI, and Git-based workflows (fixtures, parametrization, parallelization).
- Proven experience in testing distributed systems or storage/networking platforms (e.g., iSCSI/NVMe-TCP, NFS/SMB, S3).
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend validation.
- Excellent debugging and triage skills across product, environment, and automation layers.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of performance or scalability testing tools.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines.
