We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Node.js to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing cloud-based applications and services that leverage the power of modern cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient applications that meet our clients' needs and enhance user experiences. Your expertise in cloud technologies, as well as your proficiency in Node.js, will be essential in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Node.js and Nest.js.
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures in cloud applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and application development.
- Document development processes, code changes, and application architecture.
Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience with Nest.js framework for building efficient and scalable server-side applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Tools Required:
- Development Tools: Visual Studio Code, Git for version control, Postman for API testing.
- Cloud Services: AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions.
- Database Management: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Monitoring and Logging: AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar tools.
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar frameworks for continuous integration and deployment.
- Containerization Tools: Docker or Kubernetes for managing and deploying applications.
