Job Description

Key Skills: Typescript, Node.js, AWS, Azure

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Implement advanced programming concepts such as asynchronous programming, decorators, and concurrency handling.
• Assist in system integration tasks ensuring smooth communication between databases, APIs, and microservices.
• Support transaction management, failure handling, validation, and retry mechanisms.
• Manage and integrate cloud-based services, preferably with AWS.
• Build RESTful APIs and follow API design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Work with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Utilize caching solutions like Redis or Memcached to improve performance.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices.
• Architect and design secure, scalable, and highly available distributed systems.
• Conduct unit testing and apply code quality checks using tools like SonarQube.
• Monitor and alert using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, NewRelic.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Skills Required:

Must-Have Skills

• Node.js
• TypeScript
• Backend application development and REST API development
• Relational & NoSQL database experience (MySQL/PostgreSQL / DynamoDB / MongoDB / Cassandra)
• Distributed system architecture & microservices
• CI/CD and automated testing practices

Nice-to-Have Skills

• AWS / Azure cloud platforms
• Redis / Memcached caching systems
• Monitoring & alerting tools (Splunk / Dynatrace / NewRelic)
• Experience with containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)

Education: Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in related field
