Job Description

QA Engineer Resource Requirements

Supports: SAP

Purpose: Establish consistent, scalable QA practices across systems and platforms by leveraging a skilled, full-spectrum QA Engineer.

Role Summary:

We are seeking experienced QA Engineers to support enterprise-wide initiatives across SAP applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong automation capabilities, deep technical testing knowledge, and the ability to work across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for UI, API, and back-end systems
• Implement performance and load testing strategies for critical applications
• Collaborate with product, security, infrastructure, and development teams to define test scope and entry/exit criteria
• Support test planning, traceability, and reporting for changes across SAP applications.
• Integrate test coverage into CI/CD pipelines for automated validation
• Enforce data privacy compliance by validating proper data masking in lower environments
• Contribute to QA governance through documentation, dashboards, and metrics reporting
• Build and maintain AI-assisted automated test cases
• Leverage AI capabilities for intelligent test case creation and optimization within Jira.

Required Skills & Tools:

• Automation: Selenium, Silk Test, Postman (API)
• Performance Testing: JMeter, BlazeMeter
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab
• Test Management & Documentation: Jira, SharePoint, Confluence
• AI: leverage AI capabilities for intelligent test case creation and optimization within Jira.
• Environment Knowledge: SAP (ECC/S4), Azure (Databricks, Azure Functions), Network & Infra layers
• Strong SQL and understanding of test data management

Success Metrics:

• Increased test automation coverage
• Reduced defect leakage and cycle time
• Timely sign-offs with clear traceability
• Visibility into QA readiness through Power BI dashboards
• Integration of testing in every phase of the change lifecycle
