Job Description
Role Overview
The Scrum Master is a servant leader, coach, and delivery enabler for one or more Agile teams. You will help teams deliver measurable outcomes predictably and sustainably while fostering team ownership, autonomy, and initiative. Beyond facilitation, you will guide teams to operate as self-directed, high-performing teams, capable of iterating rapidly, making data-driven decisions, and solving problems proactively, including leveraging AI-assisted approaches where appropriate. You will partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, other Scrum Masters, and the Agile Delivery Lead to ensure alignment and smooth delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable team ownership and agency by encouraging proactive decision-making, experimentation, and problem-solving within the team, including responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows
- Facilitate alignment and execution: help teams maintain alignment and follow key delivery practices, ensuring clear goals, commitments, and measurable outcomes.
- Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices to improve collaboration, quality, and delivery outcomes.
- Promote data-driven decision making: help teams leverage metrics and insights from modern tooling to identify improvement opportunities and guide planning and execution.
- Anticipate, surface, and resolve impediments while gradually enabling teams to handle most obstacles autonomously.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement: guide retrospectives, encourage experimentation, and ensure actionable follow-up is owned by the team.
- Collaborate across teams and leadership to coordinate dependencies, align priorities, and optimize delivery flow.
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting one or more teams and engaging with other teams to facilitate alignment, address cross-team dependencies, and support seamless delivery.
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills with a focus on developing team autonomy, self-management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, influencing without authority, and translating complex ideas into actionable guidance
- Experience using metrics to improve team performance, predictability, and delivery outcomes.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement, including working with senior leaders.
- Familiarity with AI workflows, tools, or integration is a plus.
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), CSM, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
Why Join
Join a forward-thinking team where your coaching will empower teams to take ownership, continuously improve, and solve problems creatively. Youll work closely with other Scrum Masters and the Agile Delivery Lead to ensure alignment and optimize delivery, while helping shape a high-performance environment that values autonomy, collaboration, and measurable business impact. Youll also play a meaningful role in the FLX ONE Cargo journey, contributing to the evolution of a modern product platform that is redefining how cargo operations are planned, executed, and optimized.
