About the Role

The Manager Travel & Expense (T&E) will lead global employee reimbursement operations, overseeing end-to-end T&E processes including expense report processing, policy governance, audit readiness, accounting and reconciliations, Concur system administration, and management of global corporate card programs (Amex and Bank of America) across the Americas, Europe, and APAC regions.

Operating in a dynamic shared-services environment, this position drives operational excellence, ensures compliance with SOX and ICFR standards, and partners cross-functionally with Finance, HR, IT, Treasury, and other business teams worldwide. The role also supports system enhancements, process transitions, and automation initiatives across the T&E landscape.

This position will be based out of the UKG Noida office in India under Global Finance Services (GFS) and follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. The role will primarily operate during 11:30 a.m. IST to 8:30 p.m. IST, with flexibility to adjust working hours as needed to support global project requirements and coordination across time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global T&E team managing Concur expense processing, policy compliance, accounting, audits, and employee support.
  • Oversee corporate and purchase card programs globally, ensuring effective controls and timely settlement.
  • Maintain and enhance the SAP Concur platform in partnership with IT, including configuration updates, audit rules, and system testing.
  • Ensure accurate T&E accounting and reconciliations in Microsoft Dynamics 365, supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Steward the Global T&E Policy and drive compliance with company travel guidelines, audit standards, and control frameworks.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits, ensuring process documentation and control evidence are complete and up to date.
  • Lead or support global process improvement and transformation initiatives related to systems, policy, and automation.
  • Deliver operational insights and compliance dashboards to Finance leadership; identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Manage exception approvals and policy deviations in alignment with Finance governance protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA or professional qualification.
  • 1420 years of progressive experience in Travel & Expense, Finance Operations, or Shared Services, including at least 58 years of people management experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP Concur Expense and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of internal and external audit processes, including SOX, ICFR, and statutory audits, and experience managing corporate card programs.
  • Proven ability to manage global stakeholders, drive automation, and maintain audit-ready operations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
