Job Description
- Own the technical architecture and engineering governance of the ServiceNow platform across multiple workflows
- Act as the technical authority across the entire project lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions
- Define and enforce code standards, architectural patterns, and platform best practices
- Design upgrade-safe, reusable solutions with a strong focus on performance, security, and maintainability
- Architect and govern integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, MID Server, OAuth, and web services
- Lead platform performance tuning including query optimization, asynchronous design, and memory/log footprint control
- Drive CI/CD implementation, ATF automation, and release governance
- Ensure adherence to CMDB governance, CSDM 4/5.0 frameworks, service mapping, and dependency mapping
- Oversee platform security including ACLs, RBAC, encryption, and customization governance
- Guide and mentor engineering teams on complex technical implementations

- Deep hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect or Senior Platform Engineer
- Strong expertise across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CSM, HRSD, IRM, SecOps, ITOM/Discovery, and App Engine
- Excellent command of ServiceNow architectural layers: Scoped Apps, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Flow Designer
- Proven experience with platform performance optimization and scalability
- Strong understanding of upgrade cycles, technical debt management, and customization frameworks
- Solid experience with integrations involving enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, Azure AD, Salesforce, BMC, CrowdStrike, Tanium, and SCCM
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, or Azure DevOps
- Hands-on exposure to Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow security architecture including ACLs, RBAC, and encryption
- ServiceNow certifications (preferred)
- Experience working in large-scale, complex, or multi-instance ServiceNow environments
