Job Description
About Position:
We seek a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead in building the next generation of payment solutions that integrate with leading third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal. You will help design and implement a scalable, AI-enhanced payment platform, working closely with Product, Architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that empower nonprofits to focus on their mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment platforms, API integrations, AI/ML-driven fraud detection, and cloud-native architecture.

What You'll Do:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Architect to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems that support our innovative applications.
- This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and execute the architectural roadmap for our AWS cloud environment.
- The AWS Architect will also ensure that all cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance controls, including data privacy regulations.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Collaborate with development teams to define, design, and ship new features using Node.js.
- Manage SQL Server databases for performance optimization, security, and data integrity.
- Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Deep understanding of AWS services, applications, and architecture. Ability to design, deploy, and manage applications on the AWS platform.
- Node.js: Strong knowledge of Node.js for server-side scripting. Ability to build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- SQL Server: Expertise in SQL Server database management, including writing and optimizing SQL code, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding microservice architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda.
- Knowledge of network architectures and services (e.g., VPN, routing, firewall).
