Product Manager Commercial Real Estate (CRE)We are a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the way financial institutions originate, evaluate, and manage commercial real estate (CRE) loans. Our unified platform offers end-to-end capabilities for CRE loan origination, financial spreading, risk modeling, and portfolio performance management. We empower lenders, life companies, banks, and credit unions to make smarter, faster, and more transparent credit decisions.As Product Manager CRE, you will own the roadmap, design, and delivery of our commercial real estate lending products. This includes modules for loan origination, underwriting, rent roll and financial statement analysis, risk assessment (NOI, DSCR, Cap Rate), and portfolio-level stress testing. You will collaborate with engineering, UX, data science, and client teams to deliver high-impact tools that reshape CRE credit workflows.
- Define product strategy and roadmap for the CRE lending and portfolio management modules.
- Collaborate with engineering to deliver features like:
- Property-level financial analysis (NOI, DSCR, Cap Rate)
- Automated rent roll and income statement parsing
- Loan sizing tools based on stabilized income, LTV, and DSCR constraints
- Stress testing models at the loan and portfolio level
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements from underwriters, credit officers, and asset managers.
- Prioritize features that improve underwriting speed, risk transparency, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with data scientists to integrate forward-looking metrics like market value trends, default risk, and climate exposure.
- Own product specs, feature definitions, and release planning across agile sprints.
- Ensure the product supports multiple CRE asset types: office, retail, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, senior housing, and construction loans.
- Track competitive products (e.g., Moodys CMM, Rockport, Trepp, nCino, etc.) and identify product differentiators.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in commercial lending, real estate tech, or fintech
- Strong knowledge of CRE financial metrics: rent rolls, T12s, NOI, DSCR, Cap Rate, amortization schedules
- Experience working with or building software for CRE lenders, life insurance companies, banks, or capital markets
- Familiarity with credit risk modeling, loan origination workflows, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering, data, and design teams in agile environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in underwriting or financial spreading of CRE loans
- Familiarity with CECL/CCAR stress testing
- Understanding of risk scoring models or loan pricing frameworks
- Experience with financial document extraction or AI/ML-powered tools
- Exposure to client-facing tools in SaaS or enterprise B2B environments
