Job Description
Position Description:- Shift: General Shift
- Main location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune
- Education Qualification: Any graduation or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Position Description: We are looking for a seasoned Power BI Tech Lead with proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level Business Intelligence (BI) solutions
- The ideal candidate will bring 8-10+ years of experience in BI and data analytics, with a strong track record of delivering scalable, high-quality solutions
- This leadership role combines hands-on technical development, team management, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring that BI initiatives effectively support critical business decisions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of interactive Power BI dashboards and data models
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful BI solutions
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes for seamless data integration
- Build and maintain SSRS and Report Builder reports for enterprise-wide reporting needs
- Ensure data accuracy, security, performance, and scalability across all BI deliverables
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers; conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Stay current with emerging BI technologies and recommend improvements to reporting architecture.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 9+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Reporting
- Strong understanding of data models, attributes, and regulatory requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, RLS, performance tuning)
- Advanced hands-on experience in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, performance optimization)
- Proven expertise in SSRS and Report Builder
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience in leading or mentoring BI teams
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and data governance
- Experience managing global, multi-stakeholder BI programs
- Ability to implement automation, monitoring, and explore ML/AI integration for reporting enhancements
- Technical Skills
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days maximum (profiles beyond this will not be considered)
- Python Automation Scripting: Mandatory skill
- Candidates without Python scripting experience will not be considered.
