Regular / Senior Java Developer - Microservices @ Luxoft

Luxoft team is developing a family of condition-based and predictive health management products.The business challenge here is that power grid companies operates with vast amount of distributed assets and they are affected by ageing, risks of technical failures. On the scale when amount of assets can be multi million, managing them becomes a challenge from perspective of business logic complexity, user experience and technical implementation itself.

Main use cases of the product are: monitoring current state of an asset, remote diagnostics of assets, KPI calculation according to Health Models, generating recommendations, long term planning of activities and investments into asset fleet. Also we developed mobile application for field technicians which helps organize their work and allow to process gathered data with minimal delays.From technical perspective the product looks like cloud agnostic, event-driven microservices based platform.

We are working with BigData scale and using latest technologies like Java 17, SpringBoot 3, Spring Clould, Hazelcast, Kafka, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Angular 14, Node.js, Docker and Kubernetes.Our team performs full software development cycle from software architecture, development, testing to deployments and integration with other systems.Opportunities: participate in multi-year project for one of the biggest companies in the World and contribute to the platform that will change work experience and results of energy grid engineers across the globe.
