Job Description
Job Title: Data Specialist
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica (IICS), Advanced SQL, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of data models, data warehousing concepts, and ETL performance optimization techniques. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
- Work with Advanced SQL to create, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.
- Implement best practices in ETL performance optimization, especially Pushdown Optimization.
- Troubleshoot ETL job failures, analyze root causes, and ensure timely resolution.
- Work extensively with data models, data warehousing architectures, and related concepts.
- Build and enhance data pipelines integrating with Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain Shell scripts to support automation and workflow orchestration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Informatica PowerCenter
- IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)
- Advanced SQL
- Snowflake
- Stored Procedures
- Solid understanding of data models, data warehousing, and ETL architecture.
- Experience with ETL job optimization techniques, especially Pushdown optimization.
- Proficiency in ETL error handling and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work as a team player or team lead.
- Fast learner with strong analytical skills.
Good-to-Have
- Working knowledge of Python for automation or data processing.
