Job Description
Key Skills: Avionics, Aerospace, Hardware, Architect, Firmware, Source to Pay Life cycle
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Technical Lead, mentoring and guiding the avionics hardware engineering team.
- Engage with customers to understand requirements and propose technical solutions that meet application and compliance needs.
- Participate in business conversations and contribute vital technical insights for opportunity assessment and proposal building.
- Oversee delivery of engineering outputs and ensure alignment with program milestones, quality, and certification requirements.
- Address customer technical queries with precision and professionalism to strengthen long-term relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective customers and prepare proactive technical proposals.
- Develop and optimize methods, processes, standards, and workflows for efficient task execution and control.
- Lead design and development of hardware modules and manage release processes through the full lifecycle.
- Conduct in-service reliability tracking, root-cause investigations, and corrective action management.
- Manage non-conforming material handling and lead production modifications, upgrades, and obsolescence plans.
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in Avionics and Aerospace Hardware
- Experience in hardware design and development
- Knowledge of firmware and system architecture (preferred) and 'Source to Pay Life cycle
- Knowledge in Source to Pay Life cycle
- Good customer management and communication skills
- Leadership and mentoring ability
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
