Job Description
Job Title: QA & Test Manager
Experience: 8+ years
Location: Oberoiu Gardens, Chandivili, Mumbai
Working Mode: from Office
Domain: Banking
Notice Period: upto 30 Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall testing strategy and approach for the bank's applications and systems.
- Define test plans, scope, objectives, resources, and schedules for testing activities.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of testing tools and frameworks.
- Promote and lead efforts for test automation to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Lead the creation of detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data sets based on requirements and technical specifications.
- Execute test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage for all applications.
- Establish processes for tracking, managing, and prioritizing defects and issues identified during testing.
- Work closely with development teams to facilitate defect resolution.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee performance and load testing efforts to ensure applications meet scalability and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with the Security and Compliance Manager to ensure that security testing is integrated into the testing process.
- Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain regression testing suites to ensure that new features or changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Generate and communicate comprehensive test reports, including metrics, progress, and status updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance testing team culture
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-1 0 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with various types of testing, including functional, non-functional, and security testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
- Experience in implementing and managing test automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.) and experience in defect lifecycle management.
- Experience in conducting performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, etc.).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of testers.
Experience in coaching and developing team members.
- Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
