Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Selection: Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar employees, including sourcing via vendor agencies, field recruiting, screening, and interviewing.
- Onboarding & Documentation: Conduct induction sessions, verify candidate documents (Aadhar, PAN, etc.), and create employee files.
- Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure strict compliance with labor regulations, including PF, ESI, Minimum Wages Act, and Workmens Compensation.
- Payroll & Attendance: Monitor daily attendance, manage timekeeping for payroll processing, and handle salary queries.
- Employee Relations: Resolve employee grievances, handle disciplinary actions, and manage the exit process.
- Safety & Welfare: Coordinate with site managers to ensure a safe work environment and manage employee welfare activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in high-volume blue-collar hiring (Manufacturing, Construction, or Logistics sectors preferred).
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel is crucial) and familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS).
- Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, ability to work in a critical/fast-paced environment, and excellent communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of local labor regulations.
- Fluency in the local language of the worker population.
