Job Description
Responsible for Designing, Coding, Testing, Implementing, Maintaining and Supporting Vantage-One based application that is delivered within scope, with high quality, on time and within budget. Work closely with Business partners, & Technology team members to understand business requirements, perform analysis and design of quality technical solutions that comply with the organization's architectural standards. Provide technical guidance to the development team through the full software life cycle.Position Summary:
The role involves creating and implementing iOS applications using languages such as Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C. The developer will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to define features and ensure a cohesive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing iOS applications using languages like Swift, Swift UI and Objective-C.
- Measuring how much of the codebase is tested to ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify untested areas.
- Thoroughly testing apps to identify and fix bugs, ensuring optimal performance and a smooth user experience.
- Maintaining existing code, implementing updates, and optimizing apps for performance and security.
- Keeping up to date with the latest iOS technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Working with designers, product managers, and other developers to define features and ensure a cohesive user experience.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Swift UI, Swift, and Objective-C, including experience in integrating and interoperating between Swift and Objective-C codebases.
- Strong understanding of iOS frameworks and experience with Swift Package Manager (SPM) integration.
- Experience working with various iOS architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, VIPER, and Clean Architecture to design scalable and maintainable applications.
- Ability to work effectively with other team members and communicate technical information clearly.
- Tool experience with performance and memory tuning (e.g., Instruments).
- Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Discover, analyse, and deploy new technologies on a continuous basis to optimize development efficiency.
- Exposure tomodular architecture is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and release processes for iOS applications.
