Job Description
Installation and Setup: Installing and configuring ID card printers, including hardware and associated software.
- Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance on printers, diagnosing and repairing hardware malfunctions, and replacing parts as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues related to printer functionality, software, and connectivity.
- Partner Support: Providing assistance to partners on how to operate the printers, troubleshoot common problems, and utilize the software effectively. Proper training to partners team for increasing productivity.
- Documentation: Maintaining records of maintenance and repairs. Creating and handling AMCs
- Managing print jobs: Sending project print jobs to the printers, monitoring the progress, and resolving any issues related to print output.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including operating systems (like Windows), printer drivers, and related software applications.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of the mechanical components of printers and the ability to perform basic repairs.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical information to customer and partners to provide effective support.
- Customer Service: Patience and willingness to assist partners and customers with their printing needs.
- Working with different card technologies: Understanding different types of ID card technologies, such as magnetic stripe cards, proximity cards, and smart cards.
- Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices related to ID card printing.
