Job Description: Program Manager / Scrum Master
Position Summary
We are seeking a Program Manager / Scrum Master who combines strong technical acumen with exemplary leadership and process management skills. The ideal candidate will drive planning and execution of large-scale software development/maintenance projects, ensure agile best practices, and deliver high-quality products/service on time and within budget. You will be responsible for cross-functional team facilitation, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex software projects (e.g., Unifi Agent).
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Define milestones, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests; proactively address issues to ensure project continuity.
Scrum Master & Agile Delivery
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
Technical Leadership
- Understand architectural principles, software requirements, and solution design to guide teams and resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering leads, and QA to ensure technical excellence and adherence to standards.
Process Orientation & Continuous Improvement
- Design, implement, and optimize project management processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Standardize documentation, reporting, and communication practices across projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in software development or IT infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-platform software projects (Windows/Linux, cloud/on-premise).
- Technical proficiency in relevant technologies (e.g., .NET Core, REST APIs, cloud services, CI/CD tools).
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, or equivalent.

- Planning & Organization: Strong project planning, scheduling, and prioritization skills.

- Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; adept at stakeholder management.
- Problem Solving: Analytical thinker, adept at risk assessment, mitigation, and root cause analysis.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid change, and multi-tasking.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Technical certifications (Microsoft, AWS, etc.) preferred.
