Job Description
The QA Test Team Lead will oversee a team of software testers responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of SaaS solutions in the telecom domain. This role requires strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, combined with leadership skills to drive team performance, manage deliverables, and ensure timely execution of testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes aligned with project goals.
- Oversee both manual and automated test execution across functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
- Ensure test coverage, defect tracking, and reporting through structured QA methodologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and operations teams to align on requirements and resolve issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA practices, tools, and frameworks.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation to ensure delivery quality.
- Provide clear communication of test progress, metrics, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in manual and automation testing (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks).
- Preferred knowledge of SaaS platforms and telecom sector applications.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement when required.
