Job Description
A minimum of 4-6 years relevant hands-on testing experience preferably in a company that handles large clients
As a senior software tester, you are involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment process. You'll lead and conduct manual and automated tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose.
As a senior software tester, you will be responsible for creation of test plan, test processes, test cases and test data especially for agile projects. You will also carry out testing as per the defined procedures, participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures, prepare all reports related to software testing carried out and ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures. You will also track and monitor the updates in the external 3rd party solutions and ensure to carry out regression testing of the solution to understand the impact on our solutions.
- Min 4-6 years relevant hands-on testing experience preferably in a company that handles large clients.
- Preferable: Knowledge of any automated testing tool and creation of test cases will be an advantage, especially in product testing in an agile environment.
- Strong organizational, coordination and good communications skills.
- Independent, quick learner and self-motivated.
- Ability to work as part of a young team in an agile environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field of study (Required).
- An equivalent combination of education, work experience, and current certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Working with software developers, business analyst and project support teams (global team) to understand the solution, test plan, test case and test data creation.
- Writing and executing test scripts / stubs.
- Running manual and automated tests.
- Testing in different environments.
- Writing bug reports.
- Functional & regression testing.
- Stress testing &performance testing.
- Providing feedback to software development project teams.
- Supporting clients during UAT.
