Job Description
Responsibilities
- Execute accounting tasks across various focus areas, ensuring accuracy,
completeness, and timeliness.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal
entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
- Assist with audits and regulatory reviews by preparing supporting documentation and
responding to inquiries.
- Rotate across functional areas (e.g., revenue, compensation, fixed assets) to
develop broad COE expertise and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Contribute to the standardization and documentation of accounting processes,
checklists, and templates.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with Regional Controllers, COE Leads and team members to share best
practices and ensure consistent application of accounting policies.
- Adjust priorities and working hours as needed to support global stakeholders and
peak periods.
- Serve as a flexible resource to cover temporary absences or special projects across
the COE.
Qualifications Essential
- Post-qualified CA/CPA with at least 2 years of PQE, or a Finance/Accounting graduate
with over 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting transactions typical for a globally distributed
professional services business
- Experience in supporting audits
- Strong written and verbal English language communications skills
- Willingness to adjust working hours to align with stakeholders in other time zones
- Proven ability to proactively and independently solve problems, good common-sense
judgment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user
- Strong knowledge of USGAAP
Highly desirable
- A working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials (Oracle)
- Experience supporting a global business headquarters in the US
- Experience with multi-jurisdiction accounting and compliance (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS,
and/or local statutory requirements)
