Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Administration:
- General administration call ROTA for the consultants.
- Interview and selection of the Junior Doctors.
- Coordinate Annual Appraisals for the junior doctors.
- Regular morning rounds.
- Coordination with the Technicians of various departments.
- Coordinates with the social worker teams.
- Coordinates with the clinical pharmacology.
- Coordination with physiotherapy department
- Nursing department liaison and coordination
- Coordination with HODs and consultants
- Coordination of Clinical Governance
- Medical Audit
- Review of long duration inpatients
- Provide required medical support for the medical camps.
- Coordination with TPAs
- Facilitator of NABH Accreditation
- Coordination with operations department regarding MHC, billing, patient feed back, discharge summaries etc.
- Coordination with medical records regarding Biostatistics, Insurance claims etc.
- Coordination with customer relation Management cell for corporate clientele
- Telemedicine
- Coordination of Cadaveric transplant program.
- Member of the following committees:
a. Consultants Core Committee
b. Infection control committee
c. Ethics committee
d. Consultants credentials committee
e. Drug committee
f. Blood transfusion committee
- Counseling of patients in critical care services
- Media management: Official Spokesperson for Apollo Hospital.
- Coordinator of intensive care service.
- Coordinating with attorney for cases referred under consumer protection act.
- Coordination with projects department for conducting interviews for professionals and organizing training for the new recruits.
- Coordination with HR, for induction program and training of doctors.
- Liaison with DME, DGHS and department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Government of India
- Liaison with BAC and AEC for radiation safety.
Preferred candidate profile
MBBS with 8 to 10 years experience with corporate hospitals.
