QA Engineer @ Leading Client

Job Description

Role : QA Engineer.

We are seeking a driven individual to join the Smart Building Cloud (SBC) team within our IoT organization.
The SBC/SERA team builds innovative smart building solutions that power the buildings of the future.

As a QA Engineer, you will design and develop system test scenarios for a diverse set of network infrastructure and microservice applications. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to validate system quality and ensure seamless product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, test, and automate key test cases for the software-defined converged infrastructure product.
• Work with test leads, developers, deployment teams, and product managers to understand use cases and create detailed test plans and scenarios.
• Own automation execution and regression testing to ensure solution qualitytraffic inspection, issue identification, network control, and audit validation.
• Conduct system testing, performance testing, and stress testing.

Desired Skills & Experience

Must-Have Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing test cases.
• Experience in:
  • Testing life cycle, QA activities, regression testing, test automation, build systems
  • Scripting: Python, Shell
  • User flow testing

Technical Expertise (Combination of the following):

• Networking: Firewalls, Routing/Switching/VLANs, Proxies, Load Balancers, TCP/IP, WAN/LAN Protocols, DHCP, DNS
• Linux operating systems
• Ability to read and analyze network traces
• Virtualization & Containers: VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, OpenStack
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Logging & Monitoring: Logstash,
