Job Title: Performance Testing Engineer (JMeter)

Experience: 4 to 10 Years
Location: Thrissur, Kerala

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter to support performance testing initiatives for large-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
  
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and spike testing for web and API-based applications.
  
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations.
  
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
  
• Monitor application behavior under load and validate system scalability and stability.
  
• Prepare performance test plans, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
  
• Support performance tuning and optimization efforts across application and database layers.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
  
• Good understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
  
• Experience in testing web applications and REST APIs.
  
• Ability to analyze logs, response times, throughput, and error rates.
  
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and JVM analysis is a plus.
  

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working on banking or financial services projects.
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for performance testing.
  
• Exposure to cloud-based performance testing environments.
  
• Basic understanding of SQL and database performance concepts.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
