We are looking for certified HCC medical coding professionals
Job Description: Senior Medical Coder
Experience required: 8 months - 4 years
Work mode: Work from Office
Job Location: Kandhanchavadi & Ambattur, Chennai Tamil Nadu.
Candidate Profile: Smart, Energetic, Responsible, should be fluent in English, Presentable, Management Skills, Dedicated, and with a clear employment background.
Qualification: Science Graduates | B Pharm, M Pharm, B.Sc., M.Sc. & B. Tech Biotechnology, B. Sc. & M.Sc., Microbiology, Biochemistry, B. Sc (Nutrition & Dietitian), B.E Biomedical, BPT, Nursing, Zoology & Any Life Science Graduate.
Preferred Shift: Day Shift/Mid-day shift
Certification : AAPC and AHIMA certified - all certifications (CPC / CRC) - Mandatory
Responsibilities:
Assign accurate ICD-10 codes for chronic conditions based on HCC guidelines.
Working knowledge of medical jargon and anatomy.
Review patient medical records for risk adjustment and ensure documentation integrity.
Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare Advantage, and commercial risk adjustment regulations.
Stay updated with the latest risk adjustment coding guidelines and best practices.
Experience in risk adjustment coding for Medicare Advantage, ACA, or Medicaid plans.
Familiarity with RADV audits and risk adjustment methodologies.
Proficient in reviewing medical records and determining the accuracy and completeness of the document.
Effectively able to work with sensitive data and promptly relay potential issues and concerns to supervisors.
A critical thinker who ensures that all coding activities are properly managed as per scope
Solves moderately complex problems on their own.
Proficient computer skills. Expertise in Excel, Pivoting and creating reports.
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
