Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Director Technical Delivery with a strong background in technology, project management, and delivery leadership. The ideal candidate will have grown through hands-on technical roles and evolved into managing large-scale, complex IT programs for global clients. This role requires a strong combination of technical depth, delivery excellence, leadership skills, and stakeholder management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple complex technology projects across various domains ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery lifecycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and post-delivery support.
- Provide strong technical guidance to teams working on .NET, Java, or Python based Solutions.
- Regularly review code quality, project progress, and technical deliverables, ensuring adherence to standards and frameworks.
- Implement and follow best practices, frameworks, and methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall, etc.) suitable for each engagement.
- Drive technical excellence and innovation within delivery teams by promoting continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Product Management.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with global clients through effective communication and regular interactions.
- Lead project reviews, risk assessments, and ensure proper mitigation plans are in place.
- Provide leadership to Delivery Managers, Technical Leads, and Project Managers -fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Partner with Business and Sales teams in solutioning, estimations, and pre-sales discussions for new opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1520 years of experience in the IT services industry, with progressive growth from Developer Technical Lead Delivery Manager Delivery Director / Technical Delivery Head.
- Strong hands-on background in .NET, Java, or Python technologies.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-project engagements successfully.
- In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern delivery practices.
- Strong understanding of code quality, architecture design, performance optimization, and technical reviews.
- Exposure to Enterprise technology projects such as CRM, ERP, or Salesforce is a strong advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client communication skills, with experience working with global clients.
- Ability to manage delivery budgets, project financials, and resource allocations effectively.
- Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and delivery risk management.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum Master will be an added advantage.
- Experience in digital transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise modernization programs.
