Technical Lead - IBM DataStage Administration @ Citiustech

Job Description

Exp: 5 - 10 years

Location: Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities of DataStage/IWS Admins:
Infrastructure & Environment: Install, configure, upgrade, patch IBM InfoSphere DataStage (including WebSphere/AppServers) and related tools (CDC, HVR).
Performance Tuning: Monitor resource utilization, optimize job performance (parallel/server jobs), tune database queries, and manage caching.
Security & Access: Manage users, groups, roles, privileges, and project-level variables.
Job Monitoring & Support: Handle batch job failures, delays, L1/L2/L3 incident resolution, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
Automation & Scripting: Utilize scripting (Unix/Linux shell) for automation and operational tasks.
Collaboration: Work with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders for requirements, support, and reporting.
Capacity Planning: Plan for new project deployments in shared environments.

Required Skills & Tools:
Core Tools: IBM DataStage (different versions), WebSphere, Control-M, SQL, Teradata.
Platforms: Unix/Linux (RHEL), Windows.
Concepts: ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Data Governance, Performance Optimization.
Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, teamwork, 24/7 support readiness
