Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of Project Scientist I (Non-Medical) for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project in Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore- 632014, Tamil Nadu
Title of the Project
:
Harnessing Artificial Intelligence and 3D Tissue Engineering for Precision Drug Screening in Giant Cell Tumor of Bone: Next-Gen Tumor Therapeutics
Qualification (Essential)
:
1. First class Post-Graduate (PG) Degrees, including integrated PG degrees in Biotechnology/Biomedical Science/Zoology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences or equivalent
2. Second class PG degree, including integrated PG degrees with PhD
For example
M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biomedical Science/Zoology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences or equivalent or
M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S. in Biomedical engineering / Biotechnology/ or equivalent
Qualification (Desirable)
:
Candidates having hands-on experience in the area of tissue engineering/biomaterials/Molecular Biology will be preferred
Stipend
:
Rs. 56,000/- + 8% HRA per month (for first two years), Rs. 58,800/- per month + 8% HRA (for the third year) for a candidate with ICMR/DBT/CSIR JRF/Valid GATE score. For non-JRF/GATE-qualified candidates, the stipend will be paid as per the Institutes norms.
