Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Civil Billing Engineer to manage project billing, prepare cost estimates, verify contractor bills, and ensure accurate documentation of construction expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify contractor and subcontractor bills based on work completed.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and rate analysis as per project requirements.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control within budget.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and accounts teams for billing and invoicing.
- Check measurements and validate work done as per contract specifications.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax structures, and GST billing formats.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final billing reports.
- Handle client billing and payments reconciliation.
- Maintain documentation of work progress, variations, and escalations.
- Support in tendering and contract management processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in construction billing, estimation, or quantity surveying.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, rates, and taxation (GST, TDS, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
