Job Description
- As a UFT Test Engineer at our client, you will be responsible for preparing and executing test cases within projects while ensuring compliance with test and method standards. You will work on documenting test cases in the test management tool (MF ALM), configuring the test environment, raising defects found during testing, and collaborating with developers for resolution. Additionally, you will support requirements engineers in developing acceptance criteria, contribute to project estimations, and assist in defect management processes. - Prepare and execute test cases within projects in compliance with test and method standards - Ensure timely completion of tests within specified time frames - Configure the test environment by preparing document templates and test data - Raise defects found during testing and collaborate with developers on their resolution - Work with requirements engineers to develop acceptance criteria - Support the creation of decision documents for committees and decision-makers - Assist in project estimations related to the test area and requirements analysis - Support the defect management process, including root cause analysis - Track Test KPI and metrics in accordance with ETSM standards - Maintain regression test set Qualifications Required: - Detailed knowledge of the testing lifecycle and different test types - Experience in test planning, preparation, and manual execution - IT technical background, especially with complex telephone systems - Willingness to work with and understand associated programs of the text system (e.g., Text administration - Master Data+ DOPiX) - Experience with test management tools, e.g., MF ALM Our client is a leading IT multinational company that is part of a major insurance group with a strong presence in Germany and Europe.
