Job Description

Design mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD).
Develop 2D manufacturing drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Perform concept design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering design.
Conduct tolerance analysis, stress analysis, and design validation.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and cost optimization.
Support prototype development, testing, and design modifications.
Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and cost reduction initiatives.
Review and improve existing designs to enhance performance, reliability, and safety.
Participate in design reviews, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, ISO, ASME, and company procedures.
