Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Developer to join our dynamic team working on the design, development, and support of enterprise-grade applications for capital markets. The role involves contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions in a collaborative Agile environment, with a focus on .NET technologies and modern web frameworks. The project spans across multiple business areas, including Front Office and Foreign Exchange, and aims to deliver high-performance, scalable applications integrated with cloud technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications using C#/.NET, ASP.NET, and React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles and Agile methodologies to ensure robust, maintainable code.
- Write efficient SQL queries and maintain database integration with SQL Server.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Use modern DevOps tools like Git, Octopus Deploy, and Control-M to manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain awareness of cloud computing principles and contribute to deployments on AWS or Azure.
- Continuously learn new technologies and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Must have
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in C#/.NET Framework, ASP.NET, React, TypeScript, and SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Agile development practices.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Exposure to basic cloud concepts and hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git/GitHub, Rally, Confluence, Control-M, and Octopus Deploy.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting, dependency injection, and testing/mocking frameworks.
Nice to have
- Previous experience developing applications for Front Office Systems.
- Understanding of Foreign Exchange (FX) or broader capital markets domain.
- Knowledge of ITIL methodology, especially incident, problem, and change management processes.
