We are excited to partner with one of our existing major Commodity Trading clients on their Murex Binary Upgrade project. This initiative involves upgrading from the current Murex version 40 to version 64, with significant changes across all Murex modules. By joining this program, youll have the opportunity to work closely with a well-established client team, actively participating from project initiation through to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Implement environment and configuration automation for Murex 3.1.
- Manage Mx 3.1 environments/configurations across DEV and QA streams
- Automation of Murex package deployments to SIT/UAT environments through a combination of Gitlab, TeamCity, and other technologies or shell scripts
- Definition and management of release schedules for Murex environments
- Becoming the central point of contact for all Murex release-related matters
- Management of code conflicts and coordination of fixes
- Configuration alignment between different types of Murex environments (DEV, SIT, UAT) and preparation of artefacts for deployment to Production
- Compliance with change management policies and audit requirements
Must have
- 8+ years of experience in a Murex Env/ Murex Release & Config roles
- At least 3 years of experience in automating release processes, SIT, UAT support, and coordinating production deployments
- Experience with CI/CD processes and familiarity with tools such as MxConfig, Luxconfig, MXTEST, Git, GitLab, and/or TeamCity
- Strong understanding of Murex reporting and workflow
- UNIX shell scripting and YAML
- Sybase/Oracle SQL scripting
- Strong operational experience in supporting assets on Windows and Linux OS
- Excellent organizational and communication Skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple releases simultaneously
Nice to have
- Previous experience on a Binary upgrade project is beneficial and adds value to the role
- Control-M batch setup and scheduling
- Sound knowledge on infrastructure setup (applications, DB & webservers)
- AWS Cloud
