- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Murex Automation Consultant to lead testing initiatives for complex financial systems
- You need to have deep expertise in test automation, framework design, and domain knowledge in Murex
- Familiarity with Xceptor is a strong advantage
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable test automation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, BAs, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases.
- Drive test strategy, planning, and execution for Murex-related projects.
- Mentor junior QA team members and enforce best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline integration, and test data management.
- Support UAT and production validation efforts.
Skills
Must have
- 4+ years of experience in software testing with at least 4+ years in MxTest automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured, or similar.
- Proficiency in Java/Python or other scripting languages used in automation.
- Experience in building and maintaining custom automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Murex architecture, trade lifecycle, Trade insertion, E2E deal flow (FO, BO, Confo, and settlements).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar.
- Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Xceptor for data transformation and reconciliation.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and using Machine Learning skills
- ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
