Job Description
We''re seeking a highly skilled and proactive AEM (Forms) Administrator to manage, optimize, and support Adobe Experience Manager Forms environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in AEM Forms installation, configuration, upgrades, and administration.You will work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of AEM-based solutions. - Install, configure, and administer AEM Forms (6.4 and higher) environments.
- Manage user groups, permissions, ACLs, replication agents, and service packs.
- Perform installation, configuration, and migration of AEM Forms components across environments.
- Troubleshoot AEM environment issues including indexing, OSGi bundles, JVM performance, caching, and access rights.
- Configure and maintain Dispatcher setups, including multiple dispatcher environments.
- Oversee author and publisher configurations and synchronization.
- Implement automated build and deployment pipelines for AEM packages using CI/CD tools.
- Package, deploy, and troubleshoot AEM projects in production environments.
- Provide inputs on architecture, design best practices, and integration with cloud platforms.
- Plan and support AEM version upgrades and apply product patches with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with Adobe support/vendor for issue resolution and critical fixes.
- Support and mentor development teams on AEM custom code and best practices.
- Work in scrum-based agile methodology, preferably aligned to US (CST) time zone.
- Monitor system performance and suggest improvements for scalability and stability.
Must have
- Strong expertise in AEM installation, configuration, and migration.
- Deep understanding of AEM architecture, design patterns, and cloud integration.
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration, including scripting and cron jobs.
- Experience managing AEM upgrades and patches, especially in-place upgrades (e.g., 6.3 6.4).
- Exposure to Dispatcher configuration, replication setup, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Ability to troubleshoot AEM environmentsindexing, OSGi, JVM, and caching.
- Strong understanding of AEM Forms new features and version enhancements.
- Capability to analyze current AEM Forms setup and propose upgrade/migration improvements.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in AEM Forms Administration (v6.4 or higher).
- Experience with AEM development for guiding developers on best practices.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (especially Azure).
- Familiarity with product patches, vendor coordination, and change management processes.
- Prior experience collaborating with Adobe vendor support for issue resolution.
