Job Description
The project involves building, deploying, and maintaining scalable Azure Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support cloud-native applications. The engineer will automate provisioning, manage application services, and ensure performance, security, and compliance across environments.
- Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure and services ensuring reliable and streamlined deployments.
- Implement CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Ansible.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Configure and manage Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and AKS clusters for scalability and availability.
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization and cost across Azure workloads.
- Manage secrets and configurations via Azure Key Vault and App Configuration.
- Support data workflows in Azure Databricks and Azure ML.
- Implement RBAC, managed identities, and NSGs for secure access.
- Integrate automated testing (unit/integration/load) into CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure Azure Monitor for observability and proactive incident management.
- Troubleshoot production issues, including containerized workloads in AKS.
- Collaborate with development and data science teams to co-create and deploy solutions, automate infrastructure, and enforce best practices.
- Document deployment processes, architecture decisions, and operational runbooks.
Must have
- Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Expertise in provisioning, scaling, and managing Azure services and workloads.
- Python: Strong hands-on experience automating infrastructure and workflows through scripting.
- Ansible: Proficient in configuration management and automation scripting for deployments.
- Terraform: Skilled in Infrastructure as Code practices for Azure resource automation.
- CI/CD (Azure DevOps / GitLab): Ability to design and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Azure Functions, App Services, AKS: Experience managing containerized and serverless workloads for scalable applications.
- Monitoring: Familiar with Azure Monitor, metrics, alerts, and log analytics for operational insights.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure Databricks or Azure ML for pipeline automation.
- Knowledge of Azure ARM/Bicep templates.
- Familiarity with policy enforcement and compliance automation.
- Exposure to network security groups (NSGs) and advanced access control.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
