IT Database Analyst @ Luxoft

Job Description

• Implementation & Configuration of Oracle & MySQL database
• Implement HA/DR solution and Backup/Recovery strategy.
• Database Migration / Upgrade Experience on Oracle Exadata
• Ability to automate repeatable tasks.
• Support problem resolution; participate and advise in requirement gathering phase.
• Ability to identify & perform Performance tuning as part of the migration.
• Participate in product evaluations, design review session, data requirement meetings.
• Open to work in extended shifts for productions releases i.e., during US daytime hours / weekends

Must have

• Oracle Exadata
• Database Machine Administration (DMA)
• Exadata: Implementation / Configuration, Full stack patching
• Knowledge on Hardware replacements of Exadata components
• Good understanding of Exadata Server, Storage cell, Networking interfaces, HCC, monitoring, diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Experience in analyzing Exadata Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, Smart Flash Cache, IORM, DBRM
• Performing Exadata Growth Storage monitoring and Estimation
• Configuration of Static Route
• Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Cloud Control / Grid Control.
• Experience in managing Oracle DB on OCI.
• Preferred experience in Exadata / ExaCC.
• Oracle Database migrations to OCI / Azure
• Script and automate any routine manual systems tasks using Ansible, Python, Shell Script
• Be available to participate in on call rotation
• General Oracle Database Administration tasks.
• Good knowledge and experience on Oracle Database Backup and Recovery (RMAN).
• Experience on Oracle Database High Availability, Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Implementation and Maintenance of Oracle Database Disaster Recovery, Data Guard.
• Expertise in Oracle Database Performance Tuning.
