- Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end household appliances, is expanding into new smart product lines. As part of this strategic initiative, a large-scale global program is being implemented across the company''s IP portfolio. This includes the development of new embedded software, enhancements to cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks within agreed timeframe and according to designfunctional spec.
- Completely accountable for quality and timely delivery of own tasks.
- Test cases creation based on requirements/SW architecture
- Build up test environment
- Test cases execution, report test results and feature status
- Test case logs/results reporting, defects registering (defects tracking system)
- Defects verification / validation / reproduction
- Make test-design decisions according to Test Plan/Strategy and requirements.
- Automate tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform integration and regression testing
Skills
Must have
- Degree in computer science or a comparable field
- Solid understanding of testing SW systems in at least one field (embedded, backend or mobile)
- Few years of experience with test automation
- Python
- intermediate or higher
- Few years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Few years of experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Few years of experience working with agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Team-player having very good communication skills
- Self-organized and highly collaborative
Nice to have
- Continuous learning attitude
- Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) & Software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing tools
- Safety-critical standards knowledge
