We are currently working with one of the top 4 Australian banks, who are currently using Calypso V18 as a front to back-office system for Fixed income and IR derivatives business.
You will be involved in managing back office-related work on all major and minor changes, version upgrades, rebase, and monthly release cycles. Calypso skills on Fixed Income and IRD will be used to assist in designing Trade Booking, Settlement & Confirmations, Accounting, Cash, and Security position management. You will also be participated in Migration reconciliation, Integrating & reconciling the trades to the multiple downstream and upstream systems. This is the ideal role for Calypso resources to utilize their skills in a complex multi-year engagement and provide exposure to all the modules in calypso and also supporting trading / sales desks.

Responsibilities
- You will work on both technical and functional aspects of various Calypso projects, including, for example, Fixed Income settlements, SWIFT changes, binary upgrades, and functional extensions of the platform.
- Activities may include: Running user workshops to understand and draw up business processes, understanding current legacy implementations, and capturing functional and technical business requirements.
- The role will also involve configuration, integration, testing, development, and documentation of the system.
- Willing to do L3 Support if required.
- On call, and weekend support (releases, etc) might be required from time to time, but will be compensated.
Skills
Must have
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Back-office business analyst on any of the any trading platforms, like Calypso, Murex.
- In-depth knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Tasks, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages / Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framework, Reconciliation features.
- Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.
- Experience with regulatory reporting.
- Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
Nice to have
- DevOps experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.)
- Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership
- Experience with Rates, Fixed Income
