Job Description
Job Title: .NET Developer (Azure, .NET Core, SQL Server, REST API)
Job Location: Pune (Hybrid)
Job Type: Permanent
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with experience in .NET Core, SQL Server, Azure, and REST API development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure applications using Microsoft technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core and C#.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
- Work with SQL Server to design database schemas, write stored procedures, and optimize queries.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices in .NET applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a .NET Developer.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Experience with SQL Server, including database design, queries, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, etc.).
- Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Knowledge of Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, etc.).
- Understanding of Message Queues (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Experience with Unit Testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Moq, etc.).
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft Azure Developer Certification (AZ-204) is a plus.
