Job Description

What youll do:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance manager who has worked in IT/ITES sector to join our team. As the finance controller you will be responsible for overseeing accounting activities of few entities across the globe and support corporate controllership work.
Finance Controller Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing end-to-end accounting and controllership activities for assigned APAC entities.
- Participate or prepare annual set of financial statements and applicable notes in accordance with the local GAAP, including balance sheet, income statement, equity statement, cash flow statement and note.
- Working knowledge of IND AS and IGAAP. Working knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP is preferable.
- As part of the corporate team, responsible for quarterly and yearly financial reports in US GAAP and IFRS. Also includes managing workings of few standards both in US GAAP and IFRS.
- Participate and support on tax compliance including finalization of tax provision, current and deferred, Transfer pricing finalization and filing of tax returns in consultation with our tax outsourced partner and tax team.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conducting periodic book closure activities, including depreciation calculation, interest, salary, and WIP.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Hands-on experience in statutory compliances (GST and TDS), coordinating for all accounting-related activities. notice replies, and tax assessments. FEMA/RBI.
- Experience in managing the Internal financial controls, interpreting the accounting policies & procedures in turn to facilitate internal financial control.
- Understanding knowledge of SOX and collection.
What to Have for this position:
Must have Skills:-
- Must be a Chartered Accountant
- 6 Years of post qualification is a must. Including at least 2 years in a finance leadership role.
- Experience working in a multi-country environment with knowledge of international accounting regulation will be an added advantage.
- Excellent leadership and team management skill with the ability to motivate and develop a team and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Experience with accounting software in SAP is a plus and advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a must.
