What you'll build
- You will deliver high-quality daily operations by achieving KPIs/SLA commitments and ensuring consistent service excellence.
- You will provide advanced support for Linux/Windows and infrastructure environments, leveraging automation to improve stability and efficiency.
- You will enhance high-availability environments by optimizing Pacemaker clusters and resolving architectural or design issues.
- Your work will directly impact safeguarding system reliability through proactive monitoring, incident management, and comprehensive root-cause analysis.
- You will be responsible to drive cross-team collaboration to improve operational workflows and standardize processes.
- You will lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives that reduce customer pain points and strengthen overall service delivery.
- You will manage and prevent escalations by taking proactive steps and driving initiatives that boost operational resilience and customer satisfaction. Also perform a thorough root cause analyses and deliver corrective and preventive action plans for outages and performance issues.
What you'll bring
- 10 years of advanced Linux (RedHat/SUSE) administration experience, along with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on expertise in Pacemaker-based high-availability clustering.
- Solid cloud operations experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP, supported by strong networking knowledge and a sound understanding of IT security and OS hardening.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities (Shell, Python, Perl, Go, Ansible, Chef) that help streamline large-scale server operations.
- You bring proven problem-management and RCA expertise, enabling you to enhance system reliability and drive continuous operational improvement.

- It provides a comprehensive cloud infrastructure and managed service offerings to our customers as an essential part of the overall Cloud Strategy of SAP.
- Under RISE with SAP, SAP allows customers to run their SAP S/4 HANA and other SAP applications in a managed private cloud environment either in SAP s own datacentres, IaaS Hyperscalers, SAP Premium Suppliers or in customers own existing datacentres.
- Within the Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) Board area, the mission of the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Delivery organization is to run and operate SAP s private cloud offering.
- The Enhanced Operation Service is part of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery organization. This is a dedicated team which will focus on leading and optimizing strategic customers end-to-end delivery and operation model, during the customer s cloud transformation journey.
