Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Lead to oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems, networks, cloud services, and IT security. This role involves managing infrastructure projects, leading a technical team, ensuring high availability, and aligning IT services with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the organizations IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, backup, and cloud systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure solutions (on-premises and cloud).
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery of infrastructure systems.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues and outages.
- Oversee system security, including firewalls, antivirus, patching, and compliance with security policies.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with application, security, and helpdesk teams to support enterprise IT needs.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and asset inventories.
- Lead and mentor infrastructure or system administrators and support staff.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
- Manage infrastructure budget and provide regular reporting to IT leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Windows/Linux servers and operating systems
- Networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches)
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies.
