Job Description:-

• This role includes the following responsibilities:
• Designing and implementing Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) aligned with key customer journeys.
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of observability concepts, including logs, metrics, traces, SLIs, and SLO.
• Integrating observability tools like Dynatrace, Elastic, and Nagios to provide deep insights into application performance and reliability.
• Building alerting pipelines via PagerDuty to ensure timely and actionable notifications for support teams.
• Collaborating with senior SREs and application teams to identify gaps and drive improvements in monitoring coverage and incident response.
• Implementing Machine Learning (ML) and anomaly detection strategies.

**Tools and Technologies You'll Work With:**

• Dynatrace, ELK stack, Nagios, PagerDuty, Unix, Java
• Environments: Mix of on-prem and cloud-hosted applications
• Practices: SRE principles, customer journey mapping, service-level indicators/objectives (SLIs/SLOs), and incident response automation

**Desirable Qualifications:**

• OTEL experience
• ITIL certification
• Proficiency in Java
• AWS knowledge
• Experience with automation and coding
• Working with containerized environments
• Tertiary qualifications in computer science/engineering
