Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused L1 and L2 Desktop Support Engineer to provide second-level technical support to end users. You will handle escalated issues from L1 support, troubleshoot more complex hardware/software problems, and ensure smooth day-to- day IT operations across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve escalated technical support tickets (hardware, software, and network-related).
Troubleshoot issues related to Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.
Perform installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance of desktops, laptops,
printers, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights via Active Directory, Exchange,
or other IAM tools.
Support remote users via tools like Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, or similar.
Participate in deployment and patching of systems and applications.
Handle asset management and inventory tracking for IT equipment.
Escalate unresolved issues to L3 support or vendors as required.
Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and issue resolutions.
Provide occasional on-call or after-hours support based on business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1 to 5 years of experience in IT support
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Mac OS, and Office 365.
Proficiency with Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, and networking basics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of security protocols and data protection.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
