About the Role

We are hiring for the Product Control (PnL) team within Global Markets Operations. The role involves validating daily P&L, performing controls, reconciling positions, and supporting traders across global desks. Ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills and a good understanding of financial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and validate daily economic, step reval and risk-based P&L
  
• Ensure P&L is based on correct and validated positions
  
• Investigate discrepancies between front-office predicted P&L and actual P&L
  
• Perform daily controls on P&L drivers (new trades, market moves, valuation changes)
  
• Explain and document unusual P&L movements
  
• Submit P&L for trader sign-off
  
• Report and validate P&L in official reporting tools
  
• Escalate issues to management promptly
  
• Participate in global and local process improvement projects
  

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Equity, Rates, Credit, FX, Bonds, Derivatives
  
• Good knowledge of valuation concepts & trade lifecycle
  
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
  
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work with global teams and manage deadlines
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination
  

Education

• Bachelors / Masters in Finance, Economics, Accounting
  
• CA / CFA / FRM preferred
  
• 14 years relevant experience
