Job Title: MESSAP HANA Integration SpecialistLocation: [Chennai] Only for 3-Month Contract
Department: Manufacturing IT / Industry 4.0 / Digital Transformation
Experience: 58 years (preferably with MES and SAP integration background)Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting bidirectional data exchange between MES and SAP modules such as Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM).Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement MESSAP S/4HANA integration strategies and solutions.
- Work with MES vendors and SAP functional teams to define and map business processes.
- Develop and configure interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, REST APIs, or OPC UA) for real-time and batch data exchange.
- Manage integration for production orders, confirmations, material consumption, inventory movements, and quality data.
- Support and troubleshoot integration issues across environments.
- Ensure data consistency, synchronization, and error handling between systems.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, MES developers, and IT infrastructure teams for deployment and testing.
- Document integration design, architecture, and technical specifications.
- Participate in system upgrades, validations, and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in MESSAP integration (preferably with S/4HANA).
- Strong understanding of SAP PP, QM, PM, and MM modules.
- Experience with MES platforms.
- Hands-on experience in IDoc configuration, RFC/BAPI integrations, and RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with IIoT system is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SAP Hana integration.
- Exposure to database systems (HANA, SQL, PostgreSQL) and data transformation tools.
- Understanding of ISA-95 and B2MML standards.
- Previous work in discrete or process manufacturing industries.
