What youll do
- As a COE Engineer, you will support our global customers transform SAP solutions to SAP S4HANA, SAP BTP and implement latest SAP innovations. You will need to present the results of your assessment findings and recommendations to customer IT and executive management. You have the chance to design, size, optimize and transform complex SAP landscapes, on which our largest customers run their businesses, to Intelligent ERP on prem or to RISE with SAP and Hyperscalars or private cloud. Your area of responsibility will extend to Technical architecture, capacity planning, deep technical root cause analysis and introduction of best practices for design, build, deployment and run phases.
- You can grow fast becoming an expert on new technologies, troubleshooting and root cause analysis and optimization secrets. You ve to be a good team player as we work as a global team across the globally distributed COEs and Mission Control Centres (MCC). You also need the ability to drill down into technical issues and resolve complex problems across SAP products including SAP SaaS and PaaS solutions.
- As our customers are global players and communication with colleagues around the world is daily business, very good English language skill is a must. To deliver our services globally to customers, travel of course, is part of the role subject to prevailing situations.
What you bring
- 3-12 years of experience in the areas of SAP system installations, upgrades, HANA migration, S/4H conversion / migration and managing operations of large SAP Landscape.
- Experience of SAP system installation, system copy, release and Enhancement Package upgrades, OS/DB migration, Unicode conversion, HANA and ASE migration, S4H Conversion along with data center relocation including migration to Hyperscalars.
- Familiar with SUM-DMO optimization techniques. You ve done system monitoring using SAP NW and HANA tools, troubleshooting of performance issues, backup, restore and recovery, and HANA replication.
- Worked on SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java stack systems. You d have done SAP SSO setup, SSL configurations, AD integration, SLD integration, Web Dispatcher installation and integration, SAP cloud connector integration etc.
- Experience in SAP landscape design, system sizing for HANA, roadmap and migration planning to S4HANA, Worked on SAP BTP integration, data volume management, UI and Analytical strategy. Familiar with SAP Solution Manager, Fiori, Hyperscalar micro services
