Oracle DBA (with MongoDB
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Chennai (Hybrid)
Department: IT APS Channels Production Services
Mode: Full-time
Interview Process:
- L1: Technical Round (Virtual)
- L2: Technical + Managerial Discussion (Face-to-Face)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage & maintain 900+ Oracle instances across APS environments.
- Perform database migrations from legacy platforms to cloud (IaaS / PaaS).
- Execute performance tuning, capacity management, and system optimization.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and security of Oracle databases.
- Develop automated scripts, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate closely with developers & cross-functional teams.
- Manage internal security controls for Oracle environments.
- Support and maintain MongoDB databases (secondary skill).
- Work on AIX/Linux platforms for DB administration.
- Handle major incident management, RCA, workaround solutions.
- Maintain Oracle environments in compliance with cloud architecture standards.
Technical Competencies
Primary Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database 19c
- Performance tuning & query optimization
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Quest TOAD
- PL/SQL development & debugging
- Experience with MongoDB v7
- Experience with Data Guard, Exadata
- AIX / Linux server administration
Good to Have
- Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Cloud understanding: IaaS / PaaS
- Hands-on experience in Agile delivery
- Scripting for automation (Shell/Python preferred)
